Snowball
This cocktail is perfectly fitting for the holidays. With a powdered sugar rim, slushy consistency, and snow white color, this cocktail lives up to its name.
Slightly reminiscent of a White Russian, cinnamon sticks and coffee beans are heated with cream, then left to steep for half an hour. The coffee beans and cinnamon sticks are strained out of the cream, leaving only their flavors behind. The flavored cream is cooled down, then blended with crushed ice and vodka.
Sure, this would be great in the summer too, but the hints of cinnamon make this more appropriate for winter entertaining.
Snowball (Eat Feed Autumn Winter by Anne Bramley)
- 1 cup cream
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup coffee beans
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 1 lemon wedge
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 4 cups ice
Combine the cream, granulated sugar, coffee beans, and cinnamon sticks in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Remove from the heat, cover, and let steep for 30 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer. Chill until ready to use (at least 30 minutes).
Sift the confectioner’s sugar onto a small plate. Wet the mouths of the 4 cocktail glasses (your choice) with the lemon and dip into the confectioner’s sugar to create a “snowy” rim. In a blender, combine the cream mixture, vodka, and ice. Puree until you have a slush consistency. Pour into the prepared glasses and serve.
Serves 4. Cheers!

We loved our mini pies. I cut them in quarters and shared them though out the salon.
I need cards, I had 2 clients wanting to place orders.
